Jo was born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, where her love of acting and dance began during her school years. She now lives in Texas with her family and has also called The Netherlands home.

Her background includes work in the airline industry, time on film and television sets, and years devoted to raising her family. Those experiences have given her a strong familiarity with medical terminology, an unexpected asset in her acting.

Jo has trained with the Perth Actor's Collective in Australia, as well as studios in New York City and Los Angeles, allowing her to bring a unique perspective and emotional depth to every character she portrays.
